How I can help

Biodynamic Osteopathy

Searching for health needs time, and healing requires persistence.
Listen deeply, trust the journey, and never give up.

What is Biodynamics/Traditional Osteopathy?

Biodynamic/Traditional Osteopathy sees the body as an organism that still behaves as though it were a single cell, with currents and tidal movements that influence and affect physiological processes. The extensive study of these natural forces over generations has brought an understanding of how they work and how we can influence them to support and re-create health.
Biodynamic osteopathy connects the works of the anatomist and embryologist Dr Erich Blechschmidt, who described the growth of the embryo in terms of spatial dynamics and ‘fluid fields’, created out of the interaction of the different growth processes, combined with the cranial osteopathy principles of Dr. William Garner Sutherland, and continued further lifelong studies by Dr James Jealous.

“To find Health should be the object of the doctor. Anyone can find disease” Dr A.T Still, founder of Osteopathy

Dr Jealous called the understanding of Osteopathy that arose from this idea’s ‘Biodynamic’. This is not a set of techniques but a practice of cooperation with the natural processes of the body that support and generate life. Using the tidal movements of the body, treatment occurs without force to any of the body’s systems. At all times the functioning of the whole is respected, and the experience brings us closer to our true nature.
Osteopathy is a very effective hands on treatment that is safe and gentle works with the inherent health in your body. Biodynamic osteopathy is a safe and gentle, holistic approach that focuses on the body’s natural rhythms and self-healing abilities, Its suitable for all ages newborn babies and the most elderly of people. This natural approach to health can enable chronic conditions to shift as well as more recent injuries to heal. This can also help improve local circulation and to help the body return to a better state of balance and health

Difference between Biodynamic and Cranial

Cranial osteopathy looks for distinct restrictions in the cranial bones or spinal membranes, using light pressure to guide tissues back into motion. As a specialized, philosophy-driven extension of this approach, biodynamic osteopathy looks past the specific injury to perceive the inherent health and primary fluid drive within the whole organism, allowing the body’s internal forces to direct the healing process.

Tried everything and still feeling stuck?

If other treatments haven't worked, traditional and biodynamic osteopathy offers a fresh path by listening to the body’s deeper rhythms to untangle complex symptoms.
